Fiona is a lovely shade of dark chocolate with a wonderful coat and a true otter tail. She came to us from Brookstone Labradors and we are truly grateful to Sue Ketcham for entrusting this beautiful girl to us to co-own with her.
Fi loves being at my side when she isn't running and zipping all over the yard, leaping on the couch in a single bound, or chasing our cat, Charlie. Inquisitive and fearless - nothing gets past her. She loves everyone and plays well with everyone she is introduced to.
Fiona is a good Irish name that I have always liked. Her registered name "Leap of Faith" is derived from breeders taking a leap of faith in hopes that the puppy they keep will turn out to be of show/breed quality.
We have high hopes for Fiona in the show ring. She made her ring debut to win her class and take Reserve Winners Bitch out of the 6-9 Month Puppy Class under Judge Sue Goldberg. In the meanwhile, she is still a puppy and we are enjoying watching her grow.
